Work Related Experience/Expertise:
As far as my work and expertise is concerned, I have been in the Network Administration for 15+ years now. Lately (last 10 years), I've been focusing on Telecommunications. By this I mean VoIP and specifically SIP and T.38 for FaxOverIP. In the past 5 years I've been head first in this cutting edge Telecommunication Industry involved in designing, implementing, testing and turn-up of Corporate LAN and WAN SIP converged networks over public and private IP FastE, and Gige connections, capable of sustaining 1,000,000+ calls /day and 10,000 concurrent calls. This is accomplished by using the latest technology in VoIP like MediaGateways, SIP-PBX and Session Border Controllers. Dealing with well known Manufacturers such as Acme Packet, AudioCodes, Excel Switching (formerly Brouktrout), Empirix, Cisco, Asterisk and many more.Resume available here

All of the HowTo articles have been moved to a new dedicated site.
www.smehome.net will be hosting all my howto's from now on and I intend to add a lot more articles specifically for Linux and Android as I'm waiting on the Motorola Xoom tablet to be available in the Canadian market. Until then, I have been able to install the Android 2.2 SDK on my Mac OSx 10.6.6 and will start looking at how the code works. The Motorola Xoom tablet is planned to run the Honeycomb Android OS from Google which is specifically built for Tablets. More to come later. So check out SMEHOME.NET for more info.
